With less than three months to go, local and international runners of all standards are signing up for the biggest mass participation event in the Middle East – the 2017 Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon – which gets underway on Friday, January 20.

Ethiopian athletes again dominated the world’s richest distance race as Tesfaye Abera and TIrfi Tsegaye struck gold in a men and women’s 1-2-3 finish at the 2016 Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon today (January 22).
