Two years after the biggest win of his running career, Kenya’s David Barmasai returns to the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon on January 25 with a wealth of international experience under his belt and his sights set on another victory at the world’s richest marathon.

Runners looking to jog their way into 2013 have been given a boost with the news that the deadline for registrations for the award-winning Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon has been extended until January 20.

Following the outstanding performances of 2012, the elite women’s field in the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon will have a lot to live up to when the 2013 staging of the event gets underway from Emaar Boulevard on January 25.
